Executive coaching is a transformative, personal development process in which I work with you in a 1:1 setting. In this type of coaching, we focus on both professional and personal challenges, with an emphasis on strengthening authenticity, personal leadership and self-confidence. For women leaders, especially in male-dominated environments, executive coaching offers a valuable opportunity to refine their unique leadership style and strengthen their authentic voice.

How executive coaching is transforming the careers of women leaders

As a woman in a leadership position, you often encounter unique challenges, especially in industries where men dominate. These include dealing with gender dynamics, power dynamics and navigating complex professional relationships. The tendency to one of the guys to become one of the guys is great, also to continuously adapt yourself to the traditional, masculine leadership model.

Many women I work with have developed their leadership in a male-dominated environment. They can hold their own in this just fine, but yearn to grow in their authenticity as leaders and become more of their own unique voice. This focus on personal growth, strengthening self-confidence and developing authentic leadership, is at the heart of my work as an executive coach.

As an executive coach, I create a safe, supportive space for you in which you learn to address these challenges your way. The process helps you explore and integrate your unique values and qualities into your leadership role. This leads to more self-confidence, more satisfaction and more impact in your organization.

The move to more influence, more control, more responsibility, more visibility. In other words, more leadership. That demands something of you. The pressure is increasing and you feel it. Who you are, what you stand for, your change leadership skills, this becomes increasingly important in the roles you perform. This also means that you need to create space to show more of yourself in your work. This is what our coaching methodology Journey to Wholeness is all about.

Since then, I have inspired and helped hundreds of women. From the Amsterdam Economic Board to the Volksbank. From Accenture to PGGM. And from Vivium Zorggroep to the ZZP’er and SME entrepreneur who is building the growth of her company. For inspiration, here are some of the coaching questions women come to me with.

I coach you towards the development of holistic leadership. In which a balance is found between mental, physical, emotional and spiritual aspects in your development. In my coaching, I help leaders develop balanced and resilient leadership that can handle not only business but also personal challenges. The coaching sessions focus on integrating your whole humanity into your leadership and combines techniques such as meditation, visualization, systemic constellations and embodiment practices, along with self-analysis and reflective questions.

I have even translated my holistic approach to leadership into my own coaching methodology, the Journey to Wholeness®. An approach where Mind, Body and Soul merge to unlock your full leadership potential.

“After the first few months, I knew for sure that I wanted to achieve a culture change within our organization without getting sucked into the existing dynamics. Although I knew pretty well what needed to be done, I noticed that this transformation required a lot of calm, overview and leadership.

Thanks to the coaching, I learned to work smarter instead of harder, and collectively make the right choices.

The conversations helped me better understand the dynamics inside and outside the organization and take strategic steps. The result is that I can now lead more effectively and experience more peace and control in my role as Director Director.”

Carla is above all an extraordinary, radiant, charismatic woman. She is also very competent as individual coach, with a true psychotherapeutic fiber, empathetic, understanding, and intuitive. I have learned a lot from her support and advice, including how to reconnect with the feminine. With Carla, I understood the value, the dignity and the joy of being a woman.
Carla has a particularity: she is proud to be a woman without trying to reject the masculine or to overwhelm men. This is the attitude and vision that the world needs today.

As a psychiatrist and psychotherapist, I strongly support Carla’s work and projects, and I recommend that any woman seeking to find her roots, her deepest nature, to work with her. Helping women to find themselves, as individuals and in complementarity with men, is the way of the future, so that together, women and men, we can build a future respectful of each other and of the world around us.
